# Strengthening CyberConnect's Loyalty Program with Gitcoin Passport
#Web3
CyberConnect, a web3 social network that empowers users to own their digital identity and content, faced challenges with Sybil attacks in their FanClub loyalty program. These attacks led to an unfair distribution of rewards. They initially used manual review processes to identify and ban Sybil accounts, but it was time-consuming. To address this issue, they integrated Gitcoin Passport, dividing the reward pool into a Main Pool and a Side Pool. They also introduced a Credit Point system, combining Gitcoin Passport scores and other attributes to differentiate humans from bots. Users with 24+ Credit Points access the Main Pool. This integration led to fewer entries in the Main Pool and reduced manual workload. It saved time and resources for the team and may open the door to becoming a Passport Stamp provider in the future. Overall, Gitcoin Passport's streamlined API helped CyberConnect efficiently combat Sybil attacks and protect community interests.
